NABCO: April and May 2021 Trainees Stipends Payment are Being Processed, See When to expect Payment

The Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) Validation for payment of stipend for the month of April and May was done a few months ago but trainees are yet to receive their payment. For some time now, most trainees are looking to know when their April and May 2021 stipends will be paid.

In our early post, we highlighted on Why the delay in April and May 2021 stipend payment. In that article, we made mention that, the stipend was delayed possible because of unavailability of funds and NABCO verifying trainee’s details to avoid double payment.

Now, Information reaching us shows that the NABCO April and May 2021 stipends are being processed and payment will be effected soon. That funds are available and payment of stipends shall be made while the management continues with the verification of trainee’s details most especially trainees under the Heal Ghana module.

According to a circular sighted, the payment for all the modules will soon be made with the exception of the heal Ghana trainees whose payment will be made as and when their details are fully verified by their management and other paying agencies.

“All trainees on HEAL GHANA will have their stipends withheld until their status is verified and validated against The Ghana Health Service (GHS), Controller/SSNIT, and NMC. Those found to be permanently employed or NOT Qualified and still on the scheme will be made to refund all stipends ever received from NABCO.”

“April and May 2021 Trainees Stipends payment are being processed but subject to Trainees eligibility verifications.”

“From April 2021 payments, All trainee payments validated by District Coordinators and Approved by Regional Coordinators shall be verified against their core MIPs and other government agencies such as Controller and SSNIT.”

And where a trainee is found to have been employed and still being validated then that trainee is liable to refund all stipends ever paid regardless of when they started their employment, and this shall be charged against their salaries and additional actions taken against such trainees. Trainees permanently employed can decline from their NABCO portals and provide reasons as being permanently employed to avoid these actions.

All payment validations are based on CPTP data. ONLY THOSE ON CPTP ARE REGARDED AS TRAINEES.

When will April and May 2021 Stipnds be Paid?

From the information gathered, the April and May 2021 stipends are likely to be paid together and that may be possible starting from Monday 28th June 2021 to Friday 2nd July 2021, that’s if everything goes well as schedule.
