NABCO: How to Fill ‘JANUARY 2021 TIMESHEET’ as an Educate Ghana Trainees:

As a NABCO trainee, you are always required to fill and submit a monthly timesheet to your District Coordinator for validation and payment of stipends. Each month, trainees submit a timesheet to their immediate supervisor to endorse and submit it to the Coordinator before they get their stipends paid.

For the past few months, Schools in Ghana were closed down due to the outbreak of the Corona Virus pandemic in the country. This made almost all the NABCO trainees under the Ghana Education Service (teachers) to be on a compulsory holiday.

During those periods, teacher trainees always fill the monthly timesheet based on holidays and vacations since they are on a mandatory holiday set by the president.

This monthly routine of filling timesheets continues for all trainees placed in the classroom until January 18th, 2021 when the president decided to reopen the school.

Now that schools have been open, and is time for NABCO trainees to fill in their Timesheet for the payment of January 2021 Stipends, most trainees are confused/ not sure of how to fill the months’ timesheet.

If you are a trainee under the Educate Ghana module who still needs some guidance on how to fill in the January 2021 Timesheet, then you’re on the right page because in this article we are going to take you through the process of filling in the timesheet for the month. So without wasting further time, let’s dive into the process.

If you can recall, in our first article on how to download, fill and upload a timesheet, we made mention that, when filling in the timesheet, you start from the 22nd of the previous month to the 21st of the current month.

In this case, when filling the January 2021 Timesheet, you’ll start from 22nd December 2020 to 21st January 2021. Here, 22nd December 2020 according to our calendar falls on Tuesday.

So trainees will start TICKING the Holiday section of the TIMESHEET from the 22nd December 2020 till the 17th of January 2021 taking into consideration the various Week-End.

The next day will be the 18th of January 2021 which is the date schools across the country reopen.

So Starting 18th January 2021, all Educate Ghana trainees will begin to fill the TIMESHEET the normal way. Thus, by Putting the time reported to the school, Time for First Break, Time Back from Break, and the Time Closed.
