Information reaching us is that some NABCO trainees with arrears have been paid as of yesterday 21/8/2020. This was confirmed by a series of trainees with the NABCO arrears in most of the Districts.

If you can recall, in our previous update, we’ve reliably informed you that, Trainees with arrears caused by some remarks such as Duplicate department Number blocked, Not Reported By MIPs, and Payment Processing will soon be paid.

As at yesterday, when we had the rumors that, arrears for some trainees have been paid, we needed to be sure of that, so we consulted some stakeholders concerning the payment. Then we were told that;

The HQs have sorted out some trainees with arrears starting from January to June 2020, and that they are working to resolve the other month’s arrears.

In other confrontation with the source, we were told that NABCO is likely to sort out all trainees with genuine issues before the end of August 2020.

When we ask about trainees who have recently had some new remarks (Duplicate Department Number Blocked), we were told that, the issue was caused at the payment centre and that, they are working hard to resolve them.

That, we can reliably inform affected trainees to be patient as NABCO is working towards resolving these newly generated issues.

With the Problem of Not Reported By MIPs, our source told us that, NABCO HQs have started working and resolving those challenges and that, some trainees have been paid already.

It went further to let us know that, if a trainee has such a remark and has duly followed the earlier guideline given, then he or she is assured of getting paid his or her arrears in due time.

Trainees who have Refunded their overpaid amount were also urged to exercise some patients as the office is working hard to solve the issue for them to get paid.

Meanwhile, Trainees who have arrears with NABCO, due to them being with other Government programme such as NSS, YEA, and Afforestation are likely to be deleted from the programme.
