Whenever payments are made, some trainees get affected due to some reasons only know to NABCO or the trainee themselves.

In the past, we’ve talked much about the trainee’s stipends arrears. We always give you updates on what’s happening with regard to NABCO. So if you are here, know that, what so ever information we write here are authentic and we always commit ourself to get you all the latest update on time.

If you are on this page, reading this article, chances are you have stipends in arrears with NABCO. If that’s so, then in this article we are going to give you a piece of good news.

The NABCO HQ has taken a move to clear all stipends outstanding from July 2020 to January 2021.

In a circular sighted by our team, The NABCO secretariat has open the Validation Portal and has tasked all District coordinators to Logon and validate all eligible trainees with arrears starting from July 2020 to February 2021.

In the circular sighted, All-District Coordinators were told that the portal has been open to enable them to validate for payment of trainees who were eligible but mistakenly validated not eligible.

“This is to enable you to validate for payment of Trainees who were eligible for validation but were not validated (missed) by their Districts.”

“This is also to enable Regions to approve the validation of Districts that were either not approved or approved but still shows not approved by region”.

The HQ then warn coordinators not to try and validate trainees who were Not Eligible at certain times by correcting them to Eligible.

“Please note that this is not an opportunity to try and validate trainees who not eligible at certain times or to correct those validated as Not Eligible at these times.”

Finally, the HQ made it clear that trainees who have been gainfully employed should not be validated starting from specific months in question and months after.

“Trainees who gained permanent employment with appointments starting from specific months should not be validated for those months in question and months after. This applies to the category Exited/Resigned/Vacated Post but not declined in the system. Please remember there are consequences for such actions.”

What to Do if You have Arrears for those Specified Months?

If you are a trainee with arrears within the month of July 2020 to February 2021, all you can do is to visit your coordinator and remind him of your arrears. If you have a genuine issue, your coordinator will validate you and then you shall be paid your arrears in due time.

The Validation for the stipends arrears is scheduled to start from Wednesday, March 10, 2021, to Tuesday, March 16, 2021.
